‘Refreshing Abstract’, showcasing the exhibition cum office space designed for corporate office for the project, Gujarat International Finance Tec-city in Ahmedabad conceived by Architect Peeyush Srivastava. The 5,000 sq. ft area accomodates a work force of 40 along with a huge exhibition area to showcase the city project. This was an important project and close to heart. In a way, the reception marks the beginning of the blue-fluted ceiling depicting the rippling effect of River Sabarmati. The gypsum wall holds the logo of the company. The corporate office is a perfect example of a beautiful enclosure that enables the visitors to enjoy the great ambience.

When crafting a home, trend will be moving towards fresh, natural materials such as copper, concrete and granite, which bring an organic and serene ambience to any space. For this year, we are expecting to see more copper accents along with a mixture of other metals. Copper’s earthy red and orange tones and warm brass will be subtle alternatives to the expected steel accents. Warmer tones and tonal reds add contrast while providing a sense of warmth in homes.

In today’s scenario, what goes beyond the frontier, is a building that stands the test of times, the one which is more than just a static vertical design constituent. The question that immediately strikes our mind is what if a façade is more than this conventional perception of its character; merely being a building envelope. What if it is a living façade that changes with time its shape and size.

‘If we want to summarize the whole of architectural activities in one word it is true humanization. All we are doing is essentially humanizing the world. We are shaping and reshaping this planet to the needs and aspirations of humans. All other activities are either precursor or subsequent results of humanization’.

Inspired by the architecture and splendid greens of Europe, the project is a theme based township in the heart of Agra. Spread over 28 acres in sector 15 Awas Vikas Agra, it is situated at a location which is a few minutes’ drive from landmarks like Sikandara, Gurukatal, and about 15km from Taj Mahal.
