The addition of another extreme private zone aka “The Cocoon” zone marks the design concept. In the hustle-bustle of the modern world, a growing individual is in a constant need of meditation and introspection. As the name suggests, the cocooning space provides a womb of self- growth. The concealed location and cozy interiors can help to abscond from the world into your thoughts. It is a “selective social distancing zone” for the hostel students. The façade of the space is a lightweight “Sergi Ferrari” fabric which is a recyclable material that adds an unconventional approach of design and a commitment to sustainable development.

Nature Interpretation Centre

The design was about an Interpretation Centre at the Siang Riverfront in Arunachal Pradesh which had its origin of concept from its natural setting inspired by an initial thought process seeded with an approach to place a piece of nature that perfectly blends with the surroundings. The idea grew into a theme of placing a leaf on the site which eventually became the root of the concept. Furthermore the concept was bifurcated into sub-concepts which produced a nexus between the geographical and cultural apects of the local people.

To design a gate that represents the spirit of the people of Punjab and has Monumental scale structure with an aesthetic appeal from both frontal and aerial view. A Blend of modern and traditional architecture is the essence of the design symbolic of the character of Punjab that lies in its prosperity rooted to its chief occupation of agriculture. The meet of five rivers in Punjab marks an important geographical statement that influences the culture of the place.Hence this feature engenders the bucolic traditions of Punjab and hence marks the theme of our concept.

It was quite a great experience at the college of Apeejay Noida where we got an opportunity to be in the jury panel for examining the students for their works. It was overall an amazing day coming across different ideas put up by students and to see the young talents budding up. Education is the basic right for all

A step to ensure that children are provided with the best quality of education, along with regular health check-ups. At least 35 million children aged 6 – 14 years do not attend school in India. Furthermore, 53% of girls in the age group of 5 to 9 years are illiterate and only 53% of habitation has a primary school. The literacy rate ratio of India is 65.38% with male literacy at 75.85% and female literacy at 54.16%. A couple of hours spent on weekends educating children and understanding their insights into the world of knowledge and how much are they willing to learn and contribute to the society.

Walkable environments were thought to yield potential health benefits, both directly by fostering more physical activity; and indirectly, by increasing active transportation and reducing urban air pollution.
